The key objective of the project:
Exchange of good practices
Project's total duration: 24 months (2020-11-30Â to 2022-11-29)
This Erasmus+ project aims to involve 30 students from all partners’ schools (6 schools), nine teachers, or other school staff (1 psychologist or support teacher, six primary school teachers, one visual arts teacher, 1 PE teacher). The age of students involved is from 7 to 14 years old. Thus it is 180 students from Romania, Greece, Poland, Cyprus, and Slovakia, involved in the project connecting young people to their heritage. The indirect target group is all the teachers and students who will not be officially involved in Learning Training Teaching activities (LTTs). Then it is other schools’ teachers and students, participants of dissemination events, and others (teachers, educators, local authorities, local education boards, families, and other community members).

4 LTTs will be organized in Poland, Cyprus, Slovakia, and Greece. These will be aimed at developing students’ skills. 2 LTTs in Romania and Italy will be focused on developing the knowledge and skills of the teachers. LTTs will comprise workshop activities involving old arts and crafts, visits to museums or artisans’ workshops, cultural events, and seminars by experts in crafts making. Some materials used in LTTs will be ceramics, clay, silk, textile, and others.

The international activities can help participants break down barriers and prejudices. Teachers will exchange ideas, discuss common teaching problems, will learn from the experts involved in the project and from each other. This cooperative behavior and transfer of good practices lead to a better understanding of other cultures, open-mindedness about different backgrounds, and reconnecting people involved with their country’s heritage.
Besides international activities, we also organize local craft-related activities, planning, disseminating, and assessing.
